Deck 1 – Command Deck<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The Command Deck forms the base of operations for any OCC starship. This deck is located on deck 1 and houses the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • The Bridge. This is the main command centre of the ship, from which day-to-day and battle operations are coordinated and controlled.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The Combat Information Centre (CIC). This is a support area for the Bridge, and can be used to coordinate joint strike operations like fleet actions, to provide advanced tactical support for the tactical officer, or to plan a boarding party.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The Captain’s Readyroom. The readyroom is the office of the commanding officer of the ship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The Conference Room. This room is ideal for meetings of the staff or to discuss diplomatic issues with external parties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The Command Deck features an emergency lockdown procedure to secure the command centre in the event that the ship is being boarded. Activating the emergency lockdown results in the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Lower a blast door to physically prevent access to the CIC and the bridge. This door can only be opened again from the bridge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Activate advanced encryption on all command functions, so only personnel with security clearance level 8 or higher can access them. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
