Project Panacea- The Ultimate Medical Breakthrough

Project Panacea is the codename for a top secret OCC research project, aimed at developing a device that can cure any type of disease or malformation. The basic idea rest heavily on detailed knowledge of the DNA of the target, specifically which genes encode which genetic characteristics. For example, the genes that influence the tissue regeneration process are of particular interest.

The human body is capable of repairing itself to a great extend. However, some diseases and malformations are simple too much for our body to handle on its own. The Panacea device scans the target’s body or body part to check if there are any bacteria, viruses, or malformations present that are not supposed to be there according to the instructions embedded in the target’s DNA. The device then destroys all malicious bacteria and viruses, or stimulates the body to do this itself where possible. The same applies to bone fractures, bruises, wounds, tumors, and other bodily malformations. Since the structure of human DNA is well known, the device can even be used to cure genetic disorders by repairing the target’s DNA and then stimulating the body to remove the errors from the effected parts.

Notes

The device can in principle be used on any form of living organism. When using this device for treatment, please note that, since the device stimulates the body to repair itself, the procedure takes a lot of energy from the target. It is recommended to infuse the target with an ATP solution to prevent exhaustion of the target’s body and assist in the recovery procedure.
